Practice Description
Felipe Americano has solid experience in real estate, inheritance, contract and family law; and judicial litigation and alternative dispute resolution related to such areas of law, and civil and commercial law in general.
His professional experience focuses on advising clients on various legal matters, including the drafting, analysis, review and advice on real estate contracts, property ownership sale, purchase, lease, assignment of rights and expropriation proceedings. He also advises national and foreign investors on the structuring and development of real estate projects and investments for residential, industrial and commercial purposes, as well as on the preparation and review of mortgage guarantee contracts, liens and receivables involving real estate operations and investments.
In litigation and dispute resolution area, he represents clients in judicial and administrative proceedingsrelated to property sale and purchase, leasing, ownership swap agreements, assignment of rights, expropriation, possessory matters andproperty legalization and registration procedures.
Additionally, clients have trusted on him when structuring their estate when advising them on wills, contracts of inheritance, family succession and other related legal issues, including all legal aspects in connection with company, tax, family laws and wealth management.
Education
- B.A. in Law (JD equivalent), Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ.
- LLM in Civil Law.
