Practice Description
Lorena Reis focuses her practice on public, regulatory, civil, business and corporate areas of law for clients from a broad range of sectors, including Energy, Infrastructure, Oil and Gas, Real Estate sectors.
Her advises national and multinational business groups that participated in auction rounds promoted by and / or hold concessions for the exploration, development and production of oil and / or natural gas from the National Petroleum Agency or other granting instruments from other Brazilian Governmental Agencies and Bodies. His experience covers advisory studies, assistance in bidding and regulatory procedures, including reviewing bidding bids, drafting legal documentation, drafting and managing projects and contracts such as memoranda of understanding, protocols of intent, pre-agreements and agreements for consortium and joint venture formation, Joint Bidding Agreements, Joint Operating Agreements. She also has experience in the analysis, preparation and review of contracts for the supply of goods, services and materials used in the Energy, Infrastructure and Oil and Gas industries, including service contracts, works contracts, Turn-Key, EPC and other related contractual types. In addition to her role in the advisory area, Lorena represents clients in civil and commercial litigation related to contractual, real estate and corporate disputes.
Education
- Lorena studied Master in Public Law and State Theory at PUC-Rio University, Specialization in Constitutional.
- Civil Law at Universidade Estadual do Rio de Janeiro-UERJ and has her Bachelors Graduation in Law at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro- UFRJ.
